After several missteps Lil Wayne was sentenced to a year in jail earlier today. He was led away in cuffs to immediately start serving his term. The judge asked Wayne, before sentencing, if he wanted to make a statement but Lil just shook his head no. He’ll serve his sentence in protective custody. He could be released in about eight months with good behavior. Source
