Well recently Ice-T was on Shade45 and talked about his decision to remake “Juice” starring Tupac:
But before you read on, Ice-T wanted to make it clear that he isn’t “hating”.
“At some point, somebody gotta stop it. I don’t know. I came out, I made some statements. I’m like, yo son, I don’t know. Do you, dude. Do you,” he told Shade45′s Morning Show. “It’s kind of like if the masses accept it, it just shows you the state we’re in. C’mon man, you think I’d try to remake Pac’s movie, even though I’m from the school? C’mon son! Good luck though.”
He also added:
“If I was coming up now, I wouldn’t be nothing but a rapper. I would try to get into pop music and just sing along with the beat and say just anything,” he continued. “It would be easy for me today, because it doesn’t require any backbone or anything that comes from anywhere. It’s just if you can sing along with the beat, it’s cool. I wouldn’t go in the streets. Like I said, these kids are snitching over parking tickets.”

According to MTV, there is NO Amber Rose reality show in the works.
Amber Rose does not have a reality series on VH1 called “Behind The Shades” as she has stated, at least not yet.
A representative from VH1 told MTV News that they have no information on a reality show from Kanye West’s ex-girlfriend at this time.
However, other sources has told us that the former Ford model and stripper has shot a pilot for a reality series that she is shopping around to multiple networks, but the series has not yet been picked up.
Rose revealed details of her would be series to Vibe.com when asked about the sunglass shop she plans on opening. “I have a reality show that’s gonna come out on VH1,” Rose said. “I start filming early June. So that’s going to be incorporated in the show.
The shop isn’t up right now. You’ll see the process I have to go through to in order to.it’s not really easy to get a store and get people to come. My show’s gonna be an open book of my life, my family, my businesses. It’s called ‘Behind Her Shades’ because I usually have shades on, and it’s everything that’s behind them that people don’t know about but they’ll learn and part of that is my shade shop.”
Rose plans to sell vintage frames, her own line of sunglasses and women’s accessories in her shop when it opens and also mentioned that she is working on a writing an inspirational book based on how she grew up in Philadelphia. When her current boyfriend Wiz Khalifa appeared on RapFix Live she gushed about what attracted her to him, besides his rhymes. “He’s really funny, he’s really charming,” Rose said. “I didn’t know much about his music at first. Obviously he became a good friend and I began listening to his music and we became really close. He’s just awesome, he’s talented, he’s amazing.”

Beyonce has a lawsuit filed against her for more than $100 MILLION.

According to US Magazine, someone almost passed away at Lady Gaga’s concert.
Tuesday night Crystal Thornton, 33, and her best friend, Christina Tugman, headed to Lady Gaga’s Monster Ball in Nashville, Tenn. But during the show’s opening act, Thornton suffered a seizure and her heart literally stopped beating, CNN reported.
“She stopped breathing, her eyes rolled back in her head, and her body started twitching,” Tugman said. “I was asking if she was OK, and she wasn’t responding.”
Tugman ran to the lobby to get help, and within one minute, an EMT reached Thornton. “[She] was unconscious with no heartbeat,” the EMT said.
Using a portable automated external defibrillator, paramedics spent more than five minutes until they were able to get Thornton’s heart beating again. She was then rushed to an area hospital.
By Friday afternoon, Thornton was listed as in stable condition; her health scare was cause by an undetectable genetic condition.
While Thornton is thankful to be alive, she hasn’t gotten over missing out on the Monster Ball. She said: “I am so mad I missed the concert.”

Lauren London in Rolling Stone

Lauren London covers Rolling Out Magazine:
During the interview, London did lower her fortified walls just enough for us to see how amazing and real she is beyond her looks. She’s not just getting by on pretty. In fact, she doesn’t even acknowledge her upper hand in the looks department and came off intermittently shy.
“I don’t even think I’m all that cute,” she said when asked about her beauty secrets. “But I maintain a clean face and make sure I have a mani and pedi once a week. I think it’s important for women to take care of their nails, hair, skin and feet. That’s it. I keep it natural and simple … but when I get some sun, I’m all ready. That [tan] would be a beauty secret if I had one.”
While on set, London presented herself as a grounded and calculated woman who marches to the beat of her own drum. She was very direct not only in communicating that she purposely keeps a lid on her personal life, but also her career is very important to her, and giving birth to her child was no mistake — although some of those in the court of public opinion couldn’t handle it.
“I love the art of acting, so whether I do it on film with a million people seeing me or I do it in front of 20 people in a class showcasing my art, I am going to act whether anyone sees it or everyone sees it.”
“I had a pregnancy that wasn’t private … A lot of people had their opinions about it. They were surprised that I came up pregnant, which was a surprise to me, because I’m a woman and women get pregnant and Lauren comes first before the actress, so having my son was the best thing that ever happened to me,” she said.
“I’m a great mother because of my intentions on being a great mother, I’m a good friend because I’m loyal, I’m a good daughter because I’ve hopefully made my mother proud, I’m a great human being because I accept that there’s a spiritual being underneath it all,” she said. “I’ve always been a woman of faith.”
That faith has kept her grounded, to the point where she even remembers “the little people” she’s encountered along her journey. Ro’s videographer was stunned by her memory of an encounter they had years ago as part of another press event.
But during her “role call,” there was one role that she left out. We know she’s not married, which was the source of the judgment, but what about a boyfriend or otherwise serious relationship? It’s pretty safe to say it’s not Lil Wayne, since his cavorting is swiftly becoming legend. But she mentioned no one. So, is it another classic case of the prettiest girl remaining single because most assume she’s taken already? The only insight she offered was this:
“I’m 26 years old,” she said. “Does any 26-year-old woman have relationships figured out? If so, I want to meet her. I’m still trying to figure mine out.” [Editor’s note: There are plenty out there willing to help you with that, Lauren.]
Along with the fact that London doesn’t do many interviews — this being her first solo cover — it appeared that she had backed away from Hollywood during her pregnancy. But she hasn’t gone away and she intends to continue to evolve as a person and perfect her craft.
“I think evolution is a natural thing. I was 21 when I came into the industry and now, I’m 26. So, my style is gonna change. My hair hasn’t changed, but my outlook on clothes, movies [and] interviews that I do are gonna be different from when I first came out. I didn’t put too much thought into [makes air quotes with her fingers] coming back. I just love what I do,” she said.
London actually laughed about the perception that she was MIA, quipping, “It was only nine months! I haven’t gone anywhere, and I haven’t yet reached where I’m going to be. I’ve just been living and being me as an artist and a person and a woman. Life has its ups and downs, so I’ll continue to do this [motions as if riding waves] and grow. And thankfully, I love that the people are growing with me and love watching me, so I’ve been blessed.”
And what keeps her strong on her walk of faith and womanhood? “The serenity prayer,” she said. “God grant me the strength to accept … That’s a prayer that’s actually in my car. I say it every day.”
As Janis Gaye did with Marvin, Lauren London has reached another level of notoriety due to her connection to Lil Wayne. As did Janis, she has had to draw on her strength to maintain her independence apart from a complicated entertainer, and she’s doing it successfully. She has her own mind, she’s a serious “artist” with a growing résumé, and yes, she’s a proud mother, too.

Tornado in Da Lou

St. Louis' main airport was closed for business Saturday while crews cleaned up after an apparent tornado tore through a terminal, causing several injuries and sending people scurrying for shelter as plated glass shattered around them.
Friday evening's storm at Lambert-St. Louis International Airport ripped away a large section of the main terminal's roof, forcing the airport to close indefinitely and diverting incoming flights to other cities.
Elsewhere around St. Louis, residents in suburbs were waking to damaged homes, fallen trees and downed power lines - the remains of a fierce line of storms that moved through central and eastern Missouri.
"We have all hands on deck here," Mayor Francis Slay said at the airport. "This is something we're putting a lot of attention to."
But amid all the damage, there was relief that things could have been worse. Only four people with minor injuries were taken to the hospital from Lambert, while an unspecified number of others were treated at the scene for cuts blamed on flying glass.
"We're fortunate we didn't have larger (numbers) of injuries," said airport director Rhonda Hamm-Niebruegge.
The airport's main terminal sustained the most damage. Hamm-Niebruegge said roughly half of that structure's windows were blown out, sending glass and rain into that building. Elsewhere on the property, trees were toppled and power lines downed, further limiting access to the airport even hours after the storm left its destruction.

In a recent interview with VIBE Magazine, Soulja Boy revealed new details about his role as ‘BISHOP’ in the remake of the classic 1992 movie “JUICE” starring Tupac Shakur and Omar Epps.
Basically, it’s your boy Soulja and I’m Bishop in 2011, running around in the streets, man. You know how the movie goes, but we’re flipping it and shooting in Atlanta. I want to show these people my acting side and me being creative—always giving them something new; that’s all. I got same video director that shot “Crank That,” “Kiss Me Through The Phone,” “Turn My Swag On” —my most successful videos. The whole mixtape is the soundtrack for the movie.

Spike vs Tyler

In millionaire Hollywood, directors Tyler Perry and Spike Lee seem to be beefing over some buffoonery.
Back in 2009, Spike Lee had these kind words to say about Mr. Perry:
“Each artist should be allowed to pursue their artistic endeavors, but I still think there is a lot of stuff out today that is coonery and buffoonery,” Lee told 60 Minutes at the time. “I know it’s making a lot of money and breaking records, but we can do better. … I am a huge basketball fan, and when I watch the games on TNT, I see these two ads for these two shows (Tyler Perry’s ‘Meet the Browns’ and ‘House of Payne’), and I am scratching my head. We got a black president, and we going back to Mantan Moreland and Sleep ‘n’ Eat?”
Two years later, Tyler Perry seemed to have found the memo laying somewhere around his mansion. Check out his reply to this one…
“I’m so sick of hearing about damn Spike Lee,” Perry fumed. “Spike can go straight to hell! You can print that. I am sick of him talking about me, I am sick of him saying, ‘this is a coon, this is a buffoon.’ I am sick of him talking about black people going to see movies. This is what he said: ‘you vote by what you see,’ as if black people don’t know what they want to see.”
Oh, but he isn’t done yet. Tyler followed up with: “I am sick of him – he talked about Whoopi, he talked about Oprah, he talked about me, he talked about Clint Eastwood. Spike needs to shut the hell up!”
Perry furthered lit into Spike in an email to EUR’s Lee Bailey. The For Colored Girls director simply can’t understand why he finds his biggest critics among other African-Americans.
“I’ve never seen Jewish people attack Seinfeld and say ‘this is a stereotype,’ I’ve never seen Italian people attack ‘The Sopranos,’ I’ve never seen Jewish people complaining about ‘Mrs. Doubtfire’ or Dustin Hoffman in ‘Tootsie.’ I never saw it. It’s always black people, and this is something that I cannot undo,” he wrote.
“Booker T. Washington and W.E.B. DuBois went through the exact same thing; Langston Hughes said that Zora Neale Hurston, the woman who wrote ‘Their Eyes Were Watching God,’ was a new version of the ‘darkie’ because she spoke in a southern dialect and a Southern tone. And I’m sick of it from us; we don’t have to worry about anybody else trying to destroy us and take shots because we do it to ourselves.”

Rihanna reveals a little secret about her best friend’s husband Russell Brand:
“I first met him when he was interviewing me on TV. I was sick and it was the worst interview I’ve ever done. I was throwing up in a bucket and a doctor gave me a shot in my butt. Nothing was funny to me. I thought it was the most stupid f***ing interview I ever did in my f***ing life.[...]Why am I talking to this idiot? He made me want to throw up again.”
We did another interview on MTV and I realized he was funny. I was probably a complete bitch, but only months afterwards did I get it.”

Halle Berry was pretty in pink this past weekend as she hit up the 2011 Jenesse Silver Rose Auction And Gala in Beverly Hills. She attended the event with her boyfriend, french actor Olivier Martinez, who she met on the set of “Dark Tide”. Although they’ve been getting pretty serious, Halle recently revealed that the traditional form of marriage is not for her, and she won’t be getting married again.
“I WISH I had known then that I was not the marrying kind. It would have saved me a lot of time, heartache and grief over the years.
I made all the wrong choices when it came to love. I have been an idiot. But, now, it is like a gift to myself – seeing more clearly and making better decisions. One thing was unavoidable. My father left us when I was young and that did affect my life. If I had a good father in my life, growing up, then I do not think I would have made the mistakes I made. I would not have been lost in love.
I would have had a good role model and known what to look for. As it is, I had to find out about marriage from the men I’ve married. I have done it twice and I am not going to do it again. The traditional form of marriage is not for me.
I can applaud Halle for at least trying out the “traditional form of marriage” before knocking it. It’s interesting to see the role that fathers (or lack thereof) have on women and their relationships as they get older.
Oprah Winfrey has also been vocal about her decision to have an “un-traditional” relationship with Stedman, her boyfriend of over 25 years.
“Had we made the official marriage commitment, we wouldn’t still be together. The reason the relationship works is that we get to define it on our terms. It would be very different if we were in a ‘traditional’ relationship where I was expected to be a wife and every now and then cook a meal!”

G-Unit general 50 Cent is known for his quick-witted and sarcastic humor and the affable jokester loves to poke fun at anyone no matter how famous they may be. However, the latest rumor reported by gossip outfit TMZ that the Queens native is in talks to sign Jersey Shore star Pauly D is intriguing enough to investigate the question of whether this is another humorous send-off from Fif or, if true, would this move even benefit the buzzing reality star.
Currently set to embark on season 4 of the wildly popular MTV reality series, Pauly D also doubles as a DJ – recently scoring a resident gig at the Palms Casino resort in Las Vegas. With a Sin City residency, hit show and worldwide fame as both a DJ and TV star, could a move to G-Unit help bolster his career even further?
It is no secret that 50 Cent has embraced the club music sounds that Pauly D is known for spinning and the rapper has been experimenting with the pop and dance sound, most recently with G-Note Records artist Hot Rod on the track “Dance With Me.”
Pauly D releases a single via Universal Republic Records titled “Beat Dat Beat” last year which did chart and with all of the buzz that already surrounds him, a G-Unit or, more specifically, a G-Note pairing would make sense if for no other reason the G-Unit record subsidiary label is primarily focused on pop, dance and R&B music.
As this scene unfolds, 50 Cent and Pauly D will have to face questions soon enough, although neither gentleman has come forth to confirm or deny the supposed talks.

I’m in recording rehab right now, I’m taking a break. The industry is going through a lot of changes right now.
Do you think the internet has helped music?
Prince speaks on music:
It’s helped the people who sell the music, for an artist they don’t make the money they use to and I think we tend to not value things we can get for free. If you put anything in the place of music and say you got it for free, you’ll see what I’m talking about.
On people covering his music:
I don’t mind fans singing my songs. My problem is when the industry covers the music. Covering music means your version doesn’t exist anymore or a lot of people think I’m doing Sinead O’Connor song and Chaka Khan song when in fact, I wrote those songs. It’s okay when my friends ask to do them but it’s this thing called a compulsory license law which allows artists through the record company to take your music at will without your permission and that doesn’t exist in any other art form, be it books, movies…..there’s only one version of Law & Order, there’s several versions of “Kiss” and “Purple Rain.”
On The Vinyl days of Music:
We take this for granted, but I am here today because of the golden age of the 60′s, 70′s and 80′s in music. This is when artist played their own music, they wrote their own songs, they had to perform next to people like Ike & Tina Turner, James Brown, …you had to have your act together.

Kobe Bryant was fined $100,000 by the NBA for mouthing what appeared to be a homophobic towards a referee on Tuesday night’s televised Lakers-Spurs game. And to former tennis great Martina Navritalova, the punishment was necessary.
“Kobe Bryant has some life lessons to learn,” Navritalova told the Daily News at the 10th annual Ellis Island Family Heritage Awards Wednesday.
Bryant had drawn a technical foul midway through the game, and as he went through the bench, he yelled toward referee Bennie Adams and mouthed what appeared to be a gay slur. Bryant apologized in a statement Wednesday, saying his comments “do NOT reflect my feelings toward the gay and lesbian communities and were NOT meant to offend anyone.”
He was fined anyway.
“While I’m fully aware that basketball is an emotional game, such a distasteful term should never be tolerated,” commissioner David Stern said in a statement.
Navritalova accepted the B.C. Forbes Award Peopling of America Award. Midway through her acceptance speech, she said that she still doesn’t feel like a full U.S. citizen.
“As a lesbian, I do not have full and complete protection under the law,” she said.
She had this to say about Bryant: “What he probably doesn’t know is in schools, if a kid is called a gay derogatory slur, 93 percent of the time, the teachers don’t do anything, because it’s still ok to gay bash.”
Bryant will appeal the fine – it’s a standard part of most NBA fines and suspensions – but he expects to lose that appeal.
“You have to own up to it and take responsibility for it,” he said before the Lakers-Kings game Wednesday night.

Willow Smith is a “born rebel”.
Jada Pinkett Smith isn’t worried about her daughter Willow Smith’s unconventional life choices because she was also a ”born rebel” when she was younger.
The 10-year-old singer’s mother, Jada Pinkett Smith – who also has 12-year-old son Jaden with husband Will Smith – insists she doesn’t worry about her daughter’s choices because she had such a crazy childhood herself.
Jada said: “I was the girl hanging out with drug dealers, drinking, messing around. Whatever you think I did, I did worse.
“My daughter is a born rebel like me – Willow is so me it’s not true. But being a rebel isn’t a problem, as long as you have someone to guide you, and we are with our kids all the time.
“We see it as our mission to use that energy, to help them express who they are.”
Jada feels “blessed” to look after Willow but admits she would have loved to have some of the opportunities her daughter has when she was her age.
She added: “I tell her all the time that I would like to be 10 again and to go to fashion shows, to perform, act, have all these opportunities.
“I’m blessed to be her guide. She has these opportunities, so why not take them? What is wrong with that?”

Just a few months after her last sex tape was released, “DWTS” contestant Kendra Wilkinson will be starring in a brand new flick with an ex-girlfriend.
According to a source, the tape is about 45 minutes long and doesn’t leave ANYTHING to the imagination.
“Kendra has sex in the video with Taryn Ryan. They were friends and were hanging out together, with their boyfriends. It’s a long tape, about 45 minutes. And there is nothing left to the imagination.”
It was also recorded in night vision and is being compared to Paris Hilton’s famous porn tape.
“Kendra and Taryn started fooling around and then Kendra wanted the light turned off. But the camera that was recording them had night vision, so it looks like the Paris Hilton porn tape. Everything is completely clear.
