“I appreciate the relationship for what it was. Even though it didn’t work out, I’m glad we got together. I love her as the mother of my children; we just couldn’t be married. We’re two different people and we have two different goals. It just was never going to work out 100 percent.”
Usher also spoke upon his relationship with Tameka and his children…
“We had to put our issues aside and focus on raising them. There will never be another mother for my sons, and I’ll always be their father.”

As almost everyone on the planet knows, The Oprah Winfrey Show will come to an end this spring after 25 years of groundbreaking interviews, emotional reveals, multiple awards and the best giveaways ever. Arguably the most influential TV personality of all time, Oprah Winfrey has helped sell millions of books and launched a myriad of successful careers. Her next venture, OWN: The Oprah Winfrey Network, kicks off January 1, but her talk show is still her No. 1 priority. “My intention is to be fully present this season,” says Winfrey, 56. “To take in every experience and allow myself to feel it all.”
TV Guide Magazine: Why did you decide to end your show after this season?
Winfrey: It just feels like the right time. I always wanted to leave when I felt the platform was still vital and held some kind of meaning in the hearts and minds of the audience.
TV Guide Magazine: The Oprah Winfrey Show has been a major part of your life for 25 years. Will there be a lot of tears?
Winfrey: I don’t intend to be crying the whole season. The only time I get really emotional and nostalgic about the show is when I think about the viewers. Hopefully some of them will follow me to OWN, but I know not everybody will. And it will be bittersweet because it’s bringing this chapter to a close. The show hasn’t been a big part of my life. It’s been my life. I didn’t have children. I had the show. And I have created a family of support from my staff and the audience that really has had a huge impact on my life.
TV Guide Magazine: How will you top last season’s kick-off—the Black Eyed Peas concert with half of Chicago dancing in a choreographed number?
Winfrey: We’re not closing down any streets and I don’t know if there will be any dancing. But it will be meaningful in its own way. And I absolutely can’t tell you what it will be.
TV Guide Magazine: Throughout the season, will you go back to your favorite moments on the show?
Winfrey: There will be some of that. We have nearly 5,000 hours [of footage], and we broke up into different teams of people who have over the past eight, nine months looked at every single show.
TV Guide Magazine: Have you asked President Obama to make an appearance?
Winfrey: No, I did not ask him to come on this year. But I did say, “I’m sure you will hear from somebody on my team before this year is over.” [Laughs] I’m sure that at some point I will see a taped message or something.
TV Guide Magazine: Is it true that you’re trying to locate the people who were on your first show and in the audience for your first national show?
Winfrey: That is true. Our record-keeping wasn’t as solid then as it is now. [Laughs] Those were the days when I would go out on the street and ask people to come in: “Come in! It’s air-conditioned.”
TV Guide Magazine: How did Oprah evolve into a show that is about inspiration and aspiration?
Winfrey: Yesterday I was looking at a skinhead show [we did in 1988], and I said to my staff, “That’s the show that caused me to do television differently.” What I learned from that is you cannot allow yourself to be a vehicle that promotes the energy of hatred in any form. That was life-changing for me.
TV Guide Magazine: Is there a secret to creating a great talk show?
Winfrey: The secret is authenticity. The reason people fail is because they’re pretending to be something they’re not. And even those who are not in alignment with my value system, people like Jerry Springer, he works because he’s real. If you can find what the passion is and figure out a way to express that in an authentic and entertaining way, you have a chance at success.

At least they have something in common.
Shaquille O’Neal, the new Boston Celtics center, may be engaged to girlfriend Nicole “Hoopz” Alexander, winner of the VH1 reality TV show “I Love Money.”
O’Neal was in St. Louis on Monday and took Alexander and friends to Sahara Mediterranean Cuisine and Hookah Lounge for dinner. Lounge owner Sam David believes that is where O’Neal may have popped the question.
“I think he may have proposed to his girlfriend,” Sam David told the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. “He brought a chair into the middle of the dance floor and he put a ring on her finger.”
O’Neal has had a very busy summer already, airing the second season of his own TV show “Shaq Vs.” and learning Hebrew.

Elin finally has something to say about her Ex-hubby Tiger.
Her divorce is final and she’s ready to talk. Elin Nordegren breaks her nine-month silence in an exclusive interview with PEOPLE magazine.
“I have been through the stages of disbelief and shock, to anger and ultimately grief over the loss of the family I so badly wanted for my children,” she says in the magazine’s latest issue, out just days after her split from Tiger Woods was made official.
The 30-year-old mother of two, who is studying towards a college degree in psychology, says that despite her husband’s betrayal, “I also feel stronger than I ever have. I have confidence in my beliefs, my decisions and myself.”
In 19 hours over four visits to her Windermere, Fla., rental home, Nordegren shared never-before-seen personal photographs and opened up to PEOPLE about the emotional roller coaster she’s been on, her life as a mother to Sam, 3, and Charlie, 19 months, and her hopes for the future.
“My immediate plan is for the kids and me to continue to adjust to our new situation. I am going to keep taking classes, but my main focus is to try to give myself time to heal,” she says.
She tells the magazine this was her first – and last – interview, as she intends to remain a private person.

Tiger and Elin were both present at Bay County Circuit Court in Panama City, Florida earlier today for the execution of their divorce agreement … this according to court officials.
The divorce docs do not reveal details about the split — and the terms of the settlement were not disclosed. But as TMZ first reported, Elin is set to receive $100 million from Tiger.
Elin’s lawyers released the following statement on behalf of the couple: “We are sad that our marriage is over and we wish each other the very best for the future.”
The statement continues, “While we are no longer married, we are the parents of two wonderful children and their happiness has been, and will always be, of paramount importance to both of us.”
“Once we came to the decision that our marriage was at an end, the primary focus of our amicable discussions has been to ensure their future well-being. The weeks and months ahead will not be easy for them as we adjust to a new family situation, which is why our privacy must be a principal concern.”

Fantasia speaks to People Magazine about her recent suicide attempt:
“I didn’t have any fight in me. I didn’t care about anything. I just wanted out. At that moment, I wanted out. I wanted it to be over with – all of it, all of that [expletive]. I just sat in the closet and looked at the mirror and took all the pills in the bottle. I wanted to go to sleep and just be at peace. I knew exactly what I was doing. You can’t accidentally take a whole bottle of pills.”
Fantasia’s Manager Brian on how he found her lying on the floor:
“Her emotions were extremely low,” he says. “She’d been crying all day. Fantasia was just numb. Fantasia texted me, saying ‘I love you.’ I wrote back, ‘I love you more.’ Then it hit me.”
“I wrote, ‘You better not do anything or think about doing anything stupid.’ And I left it at that. About 10 minutes later, Fantasia texted me back, and she said, ‘Already did.’ I went into Fantasia’s room and saw her on the floor, and my heart just dropped.”
Fantasia also speaks about Antwaun:
“When I met him, he was separated … wasn’t living in his home. He didn’t want to be back with his wife – that is what I was told,” Barrino says. “I remember waking up in the hospital [and thinking], ‘It didn’t work, I’m still here in this hellhole. Still here with all this drama going on.’ ”
My nurse Melanie was a blessing into my life because she didn’t tell me what I wanted to hear,” she says. “She told me what I needed to hear. And she looked at me and said, ‘You gotta get up, and you’ve gotta get out of here, ’cause you haven’t fulfilled your destiny.’ ”
“I realized how people end up in the grave. Because that one moment [snaps her fingers] of just breaking or feeling like I can’t, I can’t go on, it’s too heavy. That was somewhere I don’t ever want to go again.”

GQ:
On Dan Gilbert
“I don’t think he ever cared about LeBron. My mother always told me: ‘You will see the light of people when they hit adversity. You’ll get a good sense of their character.’ Me and my family have seen the character of that man.”
On Charles Barkley
Charles was probably trying to be funny. It wasn’t funny to me.
On If He’d Return To Cleveland
If there was an opportunity for me to return and those fans welcome me back, that’d be a great story.… Maybe the ones burning my jersey were never LeBron fans anyway.”
Lebron on Staying Humble
That’s what keeps me humble, because I know my background, know what my mother went through. I never get too high on my stardom or what I can do. My mom always says, and my friends say, ‘You’re just a very low-maintenance guy.’”

Fantasia’s boyfriend has an important message:
Don’t blame Fantasia Barrino!
That is the message from Antwaun Cook, who allegedly had an affair with the singer and is now splitting from his wife Paula Cook.
“Antwaun would be remiss not to address the criticism and judgment he has received,” Cook’s lawyer, Nicole Sodoma, said Wednesday in a statement. “He knew Fantasia Barrino but the failure of his marriage can in no way be blamed on anyone except the two people that were a part of the union – Paula and Antwaun.”
The American Idol season 3 winner, 26, acknowledged she dated Cook “off and on for about 11 months” but said she believed he had separated from his wife.
“[Paula and Antwaun] expected their marriage to stand the test of time,” adds Sodoma. “Unfortunately, like many marriages, it did not turn out as planned. In late summer 2009, after years of discussion, the parties separated with the intention of no longer being married.”
Cook’s wife, however, stated in court documents that the couple split on June 16, 2010.
A lawyer for Barrino had no comment when asked if the singer and Cook were still a couple. The two were recently spotted meeting up at a park near her North Carolina home – with camera crews in tow for her reality show, Fantasia for Real, according to a source.

Rapper Nelly is gearing up to release a brand new fitness DVD to encourage fans to stay in top shape.
This fall, Nelly will be the first star featured in a new line of DVD’s titled Celebrity Sweat, which features workout routines from various famous athletes and celebrities.
Nelly told the Saint Louis Dispatch that he was excited to be a part of the DVD, which is due in stores this September.
The rapper has always maintained a healthy active lifestyle by playing basketball, softball, baseball and football. But as his fame grew, the rapper began paying more attention to his physique.
“People think I just woke up all of a sudden and I was this big, but they haven’t been paying attention…if you look at the pictures from ‘04 to now, you can see the change. You can see me go from 160 to 170, 170 to 175, 175 to 180 to 190. You put in all this hard work, and people want to discredit you. But you can transform your body in six to eight months. In two years, you can create a whole new person.”
In related news, Nelly is finishing up his new album 5.0 and recently accepted a temporary position as an on air personality for Saint Louis’ HOT 104.1FM’s afternoon show.

And this parting shot. According to Montana, Laurence said, “You used your last name. No one uses their real name in porn.”

Lil Wayne’s 5th letter from jail:
What’s poppin?!
Me, I’m good, figured I’d update my glorious fans again. Better sooner than later right? I’ll try to do this more frequently.
Well ain’t nothing going on in here but the time, which seems like it’s taking forever. I’m trying to make the most out of every second tho, mentally. There’s some pretty cool people in here. Even though this isn’t a cool place to be. I’ve learned plenty already and the best lesson is to not come back. Last night, I kicked ass in UNO! Anyway, that’s neither here nor there. Just thought I’d let y’all know. Gotta stay hydrated. Though it’s hot, I still work out. Now don’t be expecting me to look like Hercules when I get out, but I should be a little bulky. I guess. Anyways, please remember to always check for your name in the “thank yous”. I’m always reading letters and responding. Off the subject but her Chris, I think you should team up with Kobe! Go Lakers! Hey Lindsey, glad it’s over doll. I should have written her huh? Young Money, you’re the best I ever had. Look out for Nino 3, and I Am Not A Human Being. Coming soon. Mother, I love you. Nae, you’re my angel. Lil Tunechi Jr., you’re the man. Lil Kam, you’re the best heartbreaker. Lil Neal, you’re the littler meatball.
I love you all!

Lebron James recently made a statement directed to all haters via his Twitter. The statement was a bold one and only angered people like Charles Barkley a bit more…
“I heard about LeBron’s little tweet today that he’s remembering everybody who said anything bad about him,” Barkley said. “And he said ‘everybody.’ Well, I want him to make sure that he puts my name on that (list) … I thought that his little one-hour special was a punk move. I thought them dancing around on the stage was a punk move, and I thought he should’ve stayed in Cleveland. Him joining Dwyane Wade ’s team was very disappointing to me.”
“He’s got enough people kissing his ass with his family and all the people who work for him,” Barkley said. “We don’t have to tell him what he wants to hear all the time … That one-hour special, them jumping around on stage like punks, that wasn’t cool to me. From a basketball standpoint, I wish he had stayed in Cleveland, and if he takes that as criticism, so be it.” Source

According to TMZ:
NBA veteran Earl Watson filed for divorce from his wife Jennifer Freeman — claiming the “My Wife and Kids” actress attacked him in a late night rage … and savagely bit him on the chest until he bled.
According to legal papers filed last week in L.A. County Superior Court, Watson claims things got bad on August 1st … when Jennifer received a suspicious text message at 11PM and Earl decided to check her phone.
Watson — who played with the Indiana Pacers last season — claims his wife was furious that he took the phone and reacted by hitting him “forcefully twice in the face with her right open hand.”
Watson claims Jennifer then “grabbed my right wrist and bit … breaking the skin, leaving teeth marks and drawing blood.” Once she let go of the wrist, Watson claims she then chomped down on his chest … again drawing blood.
Earl claims Jennifer then tried to attack him with an iron — but he was able to knock it out of her hand.
Now, Earl wants a divorce ASAP — along with full custody of their 10-month-old daughter.
Calls to Freeman have not been returned.
UPDATE: Now how’s this for a change of heart… We just got a call from Watson’s lawyer, William Briggs, who tells us his client plans to withdraw his divorce petition tomorrow and that he’s reconciled with the wife who allegedly brutalized him. Briggs tells us, “The couple has reconciled their differences and plans to make their marriage work.”

In a recently released track entitled “Death Before Dishonor” from Young Jeezy, there have been lots of speculations on shots fired to fellow rapper Rick Ross.
Jeezy responds to those speculations:
“It’s not a dis,” Jizzle told MTV News via phone from ATL. “First of all, I’m not gonna get nothing out of dissing that guy. That’s one. What am I gonna get out of dissing him? I think sometimes people can read into things too deep. They trippin’ man. They crazy out there. Basically, if homie takes that as a dis, he’s insecure, and anybody else out there who does, they are insecure.
“The Real BMF” was supposed to have been included on the upcoming TM103, but once he heard that Ross put out a song so similar, he decided it didn’t belong on his LP; it would just be a giveaway to the streets. MTV
This is the line in question:
“How you Blowin’ Money Fast?/ You don’t know the crew/ Oh, you part of the fam?/ Sh–, I never knew.”

Black Voices spoke with Porn Star Montana Fishburne:
BV: How much did you make off of this? Was it six figures?
MF: I don’t know.
BV: Well, everyone wants to know what your father thinks about it?
MF: I mean, I haven’t talked to him directly yet. We have conflicting schedules, so it’s been hard. But, he’s upset. I hope he supports me. But as soon as I talk to him, you guys are going to hear something.
BV: Why do you think he would be upset?
MF: I mean, no one wants to see their daughter have sex on TV. Fathers are usually upset when they hear about their daughters losing their virginity. So I don’t think he wants to see it blasted across the world. This is something I wanted to do; it’s a goal that I had. I think he’ll be proud that I accomplished one of my goals. So if I’m happy, I’m sure that he’ll be happy, too.
BV: How long have you wanted to do this?
MF: Since I was in high school. It’s been a little secret of mine.
BV: Well, since you bought up virginity when did you lose yours?
MF: I lost my virginity when I was 16.
BV: Now what’s your association with Brian Pumper? He’s saying that you have another movie coming out?
MF: I did a music video for him, but with my porn career, I’m focusing on Montana Fishburne with Vivid. That’s what it is. The whole Brian Pumper thing, I look at it as a mistake honestly. And I’m trying to get away from that and focus on Vivid and the release of this movie.
BV: So were you known as Chippy D when you were with him?
MF: No, that was for a music video. I knew him and that was it.
BV: Do you think Brian Pumper will have a rap career now that he has a video out?
MF: No, I don’t think his music appeals to the mainstream.
BV: When are we going to see you and him in action?
MF: Me and Brian are no longer in contact.
BV: Do you think he’s exploiting you?
MF: Yes, I feel taken advantage by Brian Pumper. I don’t really want to go into details about the situation. Jeremy [Greene, an aspiring porn actor], he feels for me, he knows how I feel about it. He has talked to Brian, and they have dealt with each other, because I don’t even want to deal with him anymore. I’m not in contact with Brian Pumper, and I’m just trying to get rid of the situation.
BV: Now, who’s Jeremy Greene?
MF: Jeremy Greene, that’s my boyfriend. I met him when I was in high school through a mutual friend. I went to New Roads in Santa Monica and he went to Fairfax.
BV: And he’s a porn star also named J Pipes?
MF: Yes. There is footage of me and him, but it’s not released yet. I don’t know when it’s going to come out, but people should look forward to seeing us together.
Wait! There’s MORE!

Court documents filed this week by a woman in North Carolina allege her husband had an affair with former “American Idol” champ Fantasia Barrino — and that the two made a sex tape.
According to docs obtained by WCNC, Paula Cook filed for child support against her estranged husband Antwaun Cook last week and cited an alleged affair between Cook and Barrino. She claims the two met at a T-Mobile store and, beginning in August 2009, began their “covert adulterous affair.”
Cook goes on to claim, “Throughout the course of their adulterous affair … Defendant/Husband and Ms. Barrino have at times recorded their illicit activity.”
Rumors of an affair between Barrino and Cook have been around for months — and Barrino has always denied them.
Calls to Fantasia’s management were not immediately returned.

Dread of the unknown hung in the air as Lynn France typed two words into the search box on Facebook: the name of the woman with whom she believed her husband was having an affair.
Click. And there it was, the stuff of nightmares for any spouse, cuckolded or not. Wedding photos. At Walt Disney World, no less, featuring her husband literally dressed as Prince Charming. His new wife, a pretty blonde, was a glowing Sleeping Beauty, surrounded by footmen.
“I was numb with shock, to tell you the truth,” says France, an occupational therapist from Westlake, a Cleveland suburb. “There was like an album of 200 pictures on there. Their whole wedding.”
France, 41, was not completely blindsided by her Facebook discovery, which happened in January 2009. That fall, she had grown suspicious when her husband began taking frequent business trips, even leaving the day the couple’s newborn son came home from the hospital. Once, she found his passport at home when he was supposed to be in China for business.
In October, before leaving for another trip, her husband left a hotel website up on the couple’s computer screen.
“So I actually went there with a girlfriend, just to see for myself for sure,” France says. “He was there with this girlfriend. I said, ‘Hey, I’m his wife. We’ve got a baby.’”
The woman told France that she was engaged to France’s husband. “Sure enough, they were registered for a wedding at Target,” France says.

But here’s where she might be wrong — adding, “I think he wants to support me in everything I do, and though he sees this now as a negative, I believe in time he will view it as a positive.”
According to Montana, she and Morpheus have always been on good terms — in fact, up until the whole porn thing, she claims they spoke on a weekly basis. However, Montana also tells us she never gave her dad a heads-up on the porno news.
Montana tells us she plans to meet with her father soon to hash everything out.
