Rocsi of 106 and Park gets very emotional while speakin about being an anorexic cheerleader in high school:
I was in a lot of trouble. I was in a lot of trouble. And um...I almost killed myself for something I thought was so important like cheer leading.
I just wanted to be skinny. That's all I wanted. And it's hard even now in this industry. God! We go through so much. All the women in this industry, this is so not us guys. When we wake up in the morning, this is not what you see. And it's even hard with the blogs, recently I wore my hair in a ponytail and they were talking about my ears. They were like "Keebler Elf" and this that and the other. And you try not to make it hurt, but it hurts and your appearance is everything.
The only reason why I came out. Alot of minority women go through this. I used to think that it was a "white" syndrome. I thought only white people were anorexic or bulimic and I didn't think that anyone like me or that looked like me would go through this.
Ciara's former stylist, Shirlena Allen, is a bit upset over not receiving credit for his WIG Ciara used in a recent photo shoot. Allen insists the singer's new hairdo is all thanks to a wig she has yet be returned!
In a furious email to Bossip.com, Allen says, "The wig used and work (done) on the photo shoot, she (Ciara) doesn't even want to pay me for it. She's a year behind all of it. I ask for the wig back a year ago, she says she cant find it (sic)."
Ciara posted her new look on her Twitter.com page earlier this month, and Allen is demanding credit for creating the look.
The pics of Ciara on the post for her twitter is my work, the beautiful makeup head shot was done a year ago in Atlanta, that other crap is Kiyah, wack . Please make a correction. We spent hours trying to find this child a look and she still bites and don't listen to a list . She's a year behind all of it . Crazy !, she would have been rocking it all before all if she listen ,now she looks like a knock off!
A rep for Kim Kardashian has confirmed reports that Reggie Bush and Kim Kardashian have broken up!
The pair, who recently returned from a charity trip to Africa with Kardashian's sister Khloe, just last May talked about "heading" toward marriage, but sources tell PEOPLE their relationship suffered from the time they spent apart - with yet another separation looming with the upcoming NFL season.
"They never get to see each other, ever," the source says. "It's been a long time coming. They still love each other and are part of their lives, but Reggie spends six months out of the year in New Orleans, so it's tough."
"Nobody cheated. This was just a case of conflicting schedules and their lives going in different directions." Source: People
Former Champion and Olympian Boxer Vernon Forrest was gunned down outside of a gas station when two men were trying to steal his Jaguar.
Forrest, who lived in Atlanta, had stopped at a gas station on Whitehall Street in central part of the city to put air into the tires of his Jaguar when a man robbed him at gunpoint, the police said. Forrest, who also was armed, chased the man several hundred feet, toward a nearby intersection. The two exchanged gunfire, Atlanta Police Det. Lt. Keith Meadows told The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
The spooky thing about this whole situation is that Vernon took the time to sort of "predict" a similar instance ONE WEEK before this incident occurred on his Twitter page!
# Man I had a nightmare last nite I dreamt I come home and found 4 guys were breaking into my house. I pull my heater and it was empty they chased me and was about to shot me then I woke up. The first thing I did was get my heater and made sure it was loaded. That dream will not come true.
Our condolences go out to the Forrest family. RIP Champ

Everyone wondered how Wendy would juggle the demands of hosting a radio show and a television talk show. Apparently she's no Ryan Seacrest!
Execs from WBLS and representatives for Wendy Williams today jointly announced Ms. Williams plans to leave her daily radio show at month's end to dedicate herself full time to THE WENDY WILLIAMS SHOW, a nationally syndicated talker which launched July 13th. Ms. Williams, who has been a fixture on WBLS since 2002, has spent more than two decades on the air winning over fans and was recently nominated as a potential inductee to the National Radio Hall of Fame. Her radio show has consistently rated as one of the highest rated programs on the station.
"We are saddened to lose one of our most popular personalities," noted Deon Levingston, Vice President and General Manager of WBLS. "But we understand what it requires to put a live show on television each and every day and wish Wendy all the best in this new venture."
"I want to tell all of my fans that after July 31st, I will no longer be doing a show with WBLS," Williams said. "I really was blessed to have a broadcast home in NY on radio for the past 7 years and I want to thank everyone who supported me. I have one of the best jobs in the world, making a difference in the lives of my fans made all the difference to me and I look forward to doing the same thing in my new role as a TV host. My hope is that you will do your best to find me on your remote so I can continue to entertain and inform you each and every day." Source: NY Times
Thanx to Tim Westwood's show in the UK, we finally know the truth about these Jay-Z/Chris Brown rumors:
Jay-Z recently appeared on veteran radio personality Tim Westwood's show in the U.K., where among other topics, he responded to a rumor that he was responsible for shutting down a Chris Brown performance at last month's BET Awards as well as the anti-Hov campaign Game has launched against him in the last few weeks.
As XXLMag.com previously reported, Game has taken shots at Jay on twitter, on record, and on tour ever since the Brooklyn rap giant uttered his name in a freestyle during a concert earlier this month. Yet, none of the darts the Compton MC has thrown seems to be affecting Hov.
"Tell me exactly what I said,"Jigga asked Westwood referring to his rhyme. "I said I'm not talking about, this. I'm not...Is that a diss? ‘Oh, you hurt my feelings.' Tell groupie to get over it...If that's a diss, then wear that...Tell groupie to get over it."
Back in June, New York's Daily News reported that Jay threatened to pull out of the BET Awards if the network would allow for Chris Brown to perform at the show. When Westwood asked him about the rumors this is what he said:
"First let me categorically deny that, that's not even my style. If I have a problem with Chris Brown, I have a problem with Chris Brown. I haven't said anything -live or behind the scenes.Whatever. I don't agree with what he did and that's it. But as far as not letting him perform on BET, that's just ridiculous, that's stupid and that's a sucker move. I wouldn't do it. And people commenting on rumors, that's a sucker move."
Jay-Z is on top of fears that his upcoming "Blueprint 3″ album may be leaked to the Internet before its release. Sources are saying that Jigga already has made arrangements on visiting Atlantic Records in London and personally turn his album in by next week!
"Jay is looking forward to showing off the fruits of his studio time and decided the best thing to do was take the album himself to London."
The insider adds, "Everytime a big artist has new music ready these days someone some- where is always keen to pinch it and whack it on the internet. Jay is very protective and smart and doesn't want fans to hear tracks which aren't quite right. He wants to give the record to the label in the UK and see which songs go down best to give him ideas about single releases."
In a back-to-back fashion of sharing the Jay-Z business technique, he recently shared his music advice to the next-generation of young rappers...
"I hear it all the time - ‘Yo, he should let the young guys, the new generation of guys come in.' But you don't become the front-runner in music because someone lets you. You have to claim your shoes," Jay-Z says. "If you grow up listening to hip-hop, you love hip-hop and that's the end of it. But if you're a 30-year-old rapper still trying to make music like you're 15, then you're making it narrow. At my age, I can't relate to a 15-year-old. I deal with mature and relevant topics for my age group - it has to all be based on true emotions. The more diversity and the more mature we make hip-hop, the bigger the net you cast." With the lack in QUALITY R&B music coming from the new-comers, all eyes are are the big names ready for release this summer. Check out the new album covers from Rihanna and Whitney Houston...
In a recent interview with Britians Pride Magazine, Nia Long recently insisted that pop stars and rap artists should stick to what they know and stay away from the acting scene...
"I didn't see ‘Obsessed,' so I can't comment, but it's just not about how talented you are anymore. It's about, ‘How much box-office revenue will this person generate?' When you see certain people - we won't name names - they just don't have the skill, and no one in their team has said, ‘You need acting classes,'" the former Love Jones star replied curtly in the August issue of Britain's Pride Magazine.
She also goes on to say, "If you're a singer not an actress, you should sing. If you're a rapper, you should rap," "If you take time to develop your craft, God bless you. Jamie Foxx is an example of both [actor and singer]."
Nia further added, "If you were able to take all the Black actresses and the choices we've made collectively, it's a pure reflection of what you see on film. People need to work. But the content? The opportunities for Black actresses are more widespread today, but the quality has suffered."
According to various Internet sources, singer The Dream basically put Lil' Wayne on check about the girl he recently knocked up!
"I've never met him," The Dream says of Lil Wayne. "We're somewhere in the grey area I guess, cause we haven't had the chance to talk. But I wish him and Nivea the best. If marriage comes up then we'll definitely need to have a conversation. But right now we don't need to, cause even though she's pregnant, there's no real commitment between them, to the point where we'd need to have a conversation."

Eventually, most of us women tire of being single, always hanging out with the girls, meeting up for margaritas and club crawling, only to have to slink back home to an empty bed. We begin to long for the fulfillment of a relationship. This doesn't have to mean we're lonely, unable to be in the company of just ourselves. It simply means we no longer want to operate alone. Romantic companionship can be tremendously enriching, enhancing all areas of our lives, under the best circumstances. There's something uniquely beautiful about Blockbuster nights under a fluffy duvet with someone special, our feet touching, our bodies entwined as we steal each other's warmth. If only for a season, we all experience a very visceral need to couple, to be touched, and to at least feel loved. If it happens with enough repetition and mutuality, you may soon find that you're no longer single. The trick, however, is to still be you. Even though you've found Mr. Wonderful, or just Mr. Seasonal, it's important to remain singular and not get so lost in this wonderful (possibly seasonal) bliss that you disappear as an individual.
Make sure you have a strong understanding of who you are and what you stand for before you set out to be in a relationship. Know your singular self. The more you know about you, the better equipped you'll be to participate in a healthy relationship, and you'll be much less likely to tolerate what you don't deserve.
Lil' Wayne's ex-wife and child's mother, Antonia Cater, recently vented her thoughts about their daughter Reginae's involvement in Lil' Wayne and Drake's tasteless performance at the 2009 BET Awards.
According to her official statement released by her publicist,
I, Antonia " Toya" Carter, have been disturbed but silent about the recent performance that took place at the BET awards, which including my only child Reginae Carter and her friends joining her father Lil Wayne on stage while he performed his new single "Every Girl". I will be the first to admit that the father and daughter relationship should not have been reunited on stage for any particular reason while this song was being performed. Wayne is a very loving, caring, and devoted father and I truly feel that the act was unintentional due to the fact that he was trying to make his little girl happy by letting her be on stage with her father. Once again, I do not of any degree think it was a wise decision and I truly do apologize to all that this may offended and most importantly the children that watched this performance. I feel we all have learned a lot from this situation and pray that the viewers will allow these children to move forward with their lives and not held accountable because they are innocent.
Apparently Brandy thinks this is a rumor but her label thinks differently.....
According to BV Buzz, Brandy was dropped after disappointing sales of an album deemed to be a comeback after a roughly four year hiatus from music. That album, titled "Human," has reportedly sold just 196,509 copies in the United States since November.
Because of "Human's" sales, Brandy is being dropped because they "didn't see the benefit in giving her another album."
But Brandy insists "Don't believe everything you read or see!"
In a November release from Epic, Brandy said "I have grown so much since my last album. Being able to express myself and my journey and my journey through my music is a feeling I can't describe."
Since the noted debut Brandy has won numerous accolades including a Grammy Award for Best R&B Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocal; Billboard's R&B Sales Single of the Year; and Soul Train Music Awards' ‘Aretha Franklin Award for Entertainer of the Year'.
Various Internet sources are claiming that Raven Symone secretly HAD HER FIRST BABY!! The infant girl, Lilianna Jade, was reportedly born in an Atlanta-area hospital earlier this summer.
I was sent the first pics ever seen of Ravens baby via a representative on her staff. Raven gave birth to a healthy baby girl named Lilianna Pearman in an Atlanta Hospital. The father of Lilianna is Jussie Smollet (Jurnee Smollets older brother) Jussie (pics below) and Raven aren't together but are two proud parents. Source: Yazmar.com
Word on the net is that Lebron James was recently SLAMMED ON by a College player and "cried" over it!
In fact, only a lucky few can say they saw LeBron James, reigning NBA MVP and the leading heir apparent to Michael Jordan's throne, on the receiving end of a dunk courtesy of Xavier sophomore Jordan Crawford.
That's because a Nike official confiscated tapes from a pair of cameramen who were shooting games involving James and several college players Monday night at the LeBron James Skills Academy.
One of them was freelancer Ryan Miller, who had been filming for roughly 15 minutes - including footage of the high school prospects attending the camp - when Crawford dunked on James. Miller told FOXSports.com he was approached by Nike basketball senior director Lynn Merritt shortly after the play and asked to relinquish his tape.
"The worst part is I'm not even sure I had the shot of the dunk," Miller said. "They might have taken it for no reason." Source: FOX Sports
New look, new Dawn! You know I was with Danity Kane for awhile and it was great. I had the long joint and it was hot, but you know I'm moving on to a new chapter in my life. I wanted to start something different. I am working with Puff on the album Last Train To Paris, and we just wanted to separate me from what people are used to seeing from Making the Band and everything. I think it was time for a change. My spirit changed, my life changed, and I think I wanted to head into a more "me" direction. The more "Dawn when I was growing up," like Green Day was my first concert... so the rock Dawn, the one that I know. I got up with this amazing guy Larry, who does Victoria Beckham, Queen Latifah, like you name it. All the short joints, all the long joints, Laurie Ann Gibson. He hooked me up, cut me, and we loved it. And I am not even looking back, I am forever now a bald head girl (laughs), and I am okay with it.
