Malia and Sasha Obama Dolls

"Marvelous Malia" and "Sweet Sasha" may do well in retail stores but don't bring that sh*t around Mrs. Obama!

Michelle Obama was so perturbed by the dolls, she issued a statement through her spokeswoman, Katie McCormick Lelyveld.

"We believe it is inappropriate to use young, private citizens for marketing purposes," the statement said.

The cuddly creations from Ty Inc. - called Marvelous Malia and Sweet Sasha - had one psychologist using the word "sickening." They are being heavily marketed on the company's Web site.

"The only people this benefits is the people making money off it," said Charles Figley, a psychologist and Tulane University professor of social work, referring to Ty, which has already made billions off its Beanie Baby craze.

President Barack Obama

Today is not only a NEW DAY. It is a new beginning...

Barack Hussein Obama took the oath of office today as the nation's 44th president - and the nation's first black chief executive - and told Americans shaken by economic despair and war that shared sacrifice would be required to draw the nation back to prosperity and peace.

"Our time of standing pat, of protecting narrow interests and putting off unpleasant decisions - that time has surely passed," Obama declared in a ringing inaugural address. "Starting today, we must pick ourselves up, dust ourselves off and begin again the work of remaking America.

"For everywhere we look, there is work to be done," he said, ticking off needs in the areas of the economy, energy, education and myriad other fronts. "All this we can do, and all this we will do."

Obama's day was replete with the emotion of the past - the son of a white Kansas mother and a Kenyan father took his oath from Chief Justice John G. Roberts Jr. on the Bible used by Abraham Lincoln more than a century ago.

Barack Obama and his daughters

Barack Obama wrote a letter to his two daughters a few days before he was elected to become the next President of the United States of America. Check out the following snippet...

"I know you've both had a lot of fun these two years on the campaign trail, doing to picnics and parades and state fairs, eating all sorts of junk food your mother and I probably shouldn't have let you have," he writes jokingly in the Jan. 18 issue of Parade magazine before growing serious.

"But I also know that it hasn't always been easy for you and Mom, and that as excited as you both are about that new puppy, it doesn't make up for all the time we've been apart," he adds. "I know how much I've missed these past two years, and today I want to tell you a little more about why I decided to take our family on this journey."

He credits the girls with inspiring him to run for president "because of what I want for you and for every child in this nation."

Lastly, Obama writes: "I am so proud of both of you. I love you more than you can ever know. And I am grateful every day for your patience, poise, grace and humor as we prepare to start our new life together in the White House."

Get That Money!

Beezy Published in rags to richesplazaincMoney MattersHard Workgoalsbusinessblack presidentBeezy by Beezy | Comment (0)

MoneyI always end up catching tv shows, that show stories of people that came from nothing and are wealthy now. I can picture myself in shows like that, describing my pitfalls and finally making it on top. I always ask myself how did they do it? How did they become so lucky to sieze that opportunity to capitalize off of it? I'm a business minded person, i just need to jump on an opportunity, or an idea, and just grind.

I hear time and time again, that this is America, and life is what you make it. and really i believe that, especially seein foreigners come over here broke, and then they are super rich before they retire, people from poor families, or no education owning yahts, and the most recent example... a black president... mind blowing...  It doesnt matter if you are in poverty, you can still make it, granted... it may take longer, or be more harder, but when you do make it, you are stronger for it and you appreciate it so much more.

I'm focused on making money, and im sure i will, i just dont know how exactly yet. But one things for sure, its going to happen and i will make moves as it multiplies. I aint gonna be one of those "from rags to riches to rags" I can't even ask myself "what would i do with a million dollars?" I dont tease myself with that shit, I think realistic, check it: If i was just fortunate enough to come across even $50,000 it would only grow from there... Going strait in to investing and making power moves baby. Come see my millions in 5-10 years.

I will get this money... whether its behind a mic, wearin a hoodie, or in an office building with suits ties and briefcases.
