My thoughts on the INFAMOUS Myspace lol. I used to love Myspace. I would have to log on 3 or 4 times a day when I was sitting at work, bored on the computer. I liked the fact that you could customize your page to reflect what you were feeling, what you wanted people to know (and not know), and to give the world a small piece of you. I can't believe how big the site is now. It is a major tool for advertising full length movies and major albums. There are billions of viewers of this site now. But as far as my personal feelings now, that shit is overrated. It will get you caught up quick and now is a tool for Kool Aid blood filled niggaz to "air out" their beef with their enemies. When did "goons" even learn how to use the internet? Then there is the top friends beef. If you dont have your "special friend" in a significant spot on your friends list, you better believe you bout to start some shit. Over a Myspace spot???!!!! Then there is the comments, where if you got a lil chick leaving you comments every now and then, your serious chick gets pissed. I dont even know her!!! That shit has just become a damn headache in my opinion..... hold on I think I just got a message... lol!!!

Do you think hip hop has an impact on how the youth act today?

I think hip hop has a very strong influence on our youth. Hip hop is the voice of the young people today. If you want to know about fashion, language, etc, just look at what's going on in the hip hop culture.
I do think that the negative influences of hip hop are more exposed than the positive but it is slowly becoming more balanced. The whole mantra that thugging is cool is very overrated. As hip hop is maturing and growing up though, more of the youth are becoming responsible by voting and getting educated about AIDS. Artists are taking their influence more seriously these days which helps the youth prepare for adulthood. They still can have fun but their priorities are in order first.
